Well I kept one of the ladies rooms clean yesterday. The floor was littered w/ scrapes of paper towels and the counter w/ soap. Thought it would be nice to have others enjoy a "clean area".
Sometimes I'm not sure if these types of things are "good deeds" or done because I can't stand the mess . . . well either way, I guess everyone gets to reap the benefits!!
I'll be on the lookout for other opportunities for "doing good" ~ it really does feel nice '-).

Wintry Deeds
Diva e blogs:
Holding the door for others at the ski slopes; check.
Throwing away other people's trash at the ski slopes; check.
Treating someone to a massage at Moon Dance in NH; check.
The Power of One Deed is immense. The feeling is priceless.

Where Have All the Goods Deeds Been?
Diva e blogs:
Could it be the weather? Could it be the February blahs? Could it be I just didn't fan my own flame by writing up the good deeds?
This begs the question of "what is a good deed"? Are Good Deeds so hard to define that even the infamous Wikipedia.org doesn't have a definition for them? Go ahead, check it out.
How about this:
Doing anything that benefits another person, place or thing; done with or without recognition.
That's not to say cleaning the toothpaste out of the sink, left by another, qualifies as a good deed, especially when there may be grumbling associated with scouring the sink. No, a Good Deed must spark the GOOD somewhere. A Good feeling. Yep, that's it. A Good feeling, a feeling of Good.
This deed do-er prefers anonymous deeding.
Cleaning the snow off someone's car; check.
Picking up litter; check.
Putting away multiple grocery carts; check. (Comment now posted).
Sending an anonymous valentine; check.
Sharpening all the pencils in a public area; check.
Filling the copier with paper after using; check.
So the void in blogging was just that. Not a void in Good Deeds. Whew. I started this thing and to have it go kaput so early would be a travesty.
