Diva e blogs:
Combine one four mile walk with a CVS plastic bag and you get exercise and litter pick-up. That's what I did on the way back from pedestrian errands at 6:30am this morning. I took the purchases out of the bag and stuffed them into my pockets. Then I used the bag to collect trash along the main street where it blows into, and gets stuck in, hedges that line a nearby property. Oh , and I picked up two heat shields from FORD cars that apparently fell off along the road. I thought about being artsy with them, but realized if the cars didn't need them, neither did the artist in me.
Add that to cleaning a gas station bathroom sink - it looked like someone washed their muddy shoes in the sink and left behind the mud.
Add that to the myriad drivers I let out of difficult side streets today. This one is no longer a good deed, it has become a habit, one I would like others to adopt!

Sympathetic Deeds
Diva e blogs:
Our deepest sympathies go out to Divas Christine and Emily for their loss of Christine's Mother and Emily's Grandmother. With Goddess speed, we believe Doris has been whisked away to another life of peace. May her family's hearts be lifted from their sorrow and loss as Doris is released from the boundaries of earth.

Mother Nature provides opportunity
C-O-L-D and W-I-N-D-Y and that translated to trash all down Maynard Street ~ not ours (we had settled ours in good). I donned my coat, hood and mittens and went on a "recycle scavenger hunt". All have been collected and returned to their rightful "home".
I'm staying warm with layers of clothes and warm feelings of good deeds done!

Traveling Deeds
Diva e blogs:
Luggage, luggage everywhere and not a hand to lend. Usually. But not on this United flight from Denver. I opened the overheads and handed out, to and fro, the "stuff" that a traveler just cannot leave home without.
Every visit to the too small and too tight rest rooms were greeted by a good paper towel cleaning around the sink. Did that at the ski slopes too, during the 5 days of powder skiing I was blessed to be a part of last week. Stomped on a lot of trash to compress it into the wastebarrels at every restaurant I visited too.
Lastly, I smiled at everyone for everything.
