Diva e blogs,
Diva Mim was busy on her birthday doing the "good deed". Hats off to the wet birthday girl.
Why, I ponder, are so many deeds associated with rubbish? Is it that they are Soooooooo easy to spot, or so common it makes me want to cry? What happened to "litter bug, litter bug, shame on you, look at the terrible things you do"?
How many good deeds are just waiting for the doing?
Donating clothing, food, furniture
Cleaning a public restroom sink
Holding a door open for anyone
Paying someone's toll behind you
Letting someone go ahead of you ANYWHERE
Putting back mis-placed items in a store
Picking up litter (of course)
Recycling
Participating in a charity event
Buying someone a coffee or tea (in line)
Giving a compliment for ANY REASON
Cleaning off someone's car in a snowstorm (yes I know, next year)
Weeding someone's garden - finally we have weather to grow them
So find a good deed somewhere in the list. The great thing about good deeds, they cost so little and create so much good will.
Blogging off...
