oh those errant shopping carts

Like Diva e ~ I've been "catching carts" for the past few days. Dont' get me started on the lazy people who leave their carts behind my car . . . instead of getting upset I just wheeled it (along with mine and many more) to it's rightful place. I haven't "saved" any cars that I know of, but I have had a sense of well- being when I have helped out in a little way.

Retrieving errant shopping carts has become my new favorite hobby. Lately I've even been straightening them out in the corrals so the intended number of carts can fit there. I've also noticed that when you let someone ahead of you line with a "Go ahead, I'm not in a hurry," everyone within earshot seems to exhale and slow down a bit. Keep on Divi-ating!

I almost forgot - I've also started re-shelving misplaced items at the grocery store. It's amazing how many items other shoppers leave randomly about the store.

Great deed, that re-shelving thing. I frequently see errant coffee cups left on shelves in ALL kinds of stores. Not that they need re-shelving, just trashing.

"NO, no, you can go"! Great mantra.

I've experienced the same thing. I've also had people say "no, no, I'm not in a hurry either" :)
